If I were an agent I would snap you up so fast it would cause tornadoes in Bulgaria. You and Danielle Cross have aboslutely NO idea the talent you both possess. Lisa, if you are in the mood to move it up to the next level, then go here: http://www.grainmagazine.ca
Only a writer fills them and squirrels them away honey, I know.
On the ’submissions’ page you will find their requirements for poetry. This is a very arty and respected lit mag and many many writers (including me) aspire to be included in their pages. HUGS See? I KNEW you were a writer~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~>the notebooks are dead giveaway.
This is one I wish I wrote. So pure yet so eloquently stated, heavy yet light if that makes sense…I love this. I have felt this, but never have been able to put it into words…
For Val–I am ridiculously flattered to be mentioned in this comment alongside our poetess Lisa. What a wonderful little surprise. Thank you:)
Awww…both of you are making me blush! In case you were wondering Val, I’m still reading the book but it’s been difficult trying to find the time to finish it, if you believe that. The story is so charming so far, though…it has a bit of C.S. Lewis quality to it, I think..
